LB Steel five-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Bethlehem, Pa., Oct. 29 – LB Steel LLC’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by U.S. trustee Patrick S. Layng, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

The committee members are Terrie Demelo of Janco Steel Ltd. of Stoney Creek, Ont.; Craig Debries of Welding Industrial Supply Co. of Chicago; John Thompson of SSAB Americas of Lisle, Ill.; Peter T. Glimco of the Walsh Group of Chicago; and James Torongo of EVRAZ North America of Chicago.

LB Steel is a Harvey, Ill.-based producer of strip plate mills. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-35358.
