New Issue: EDF issues €1.75 billion 10-year green bond with 1% fixed coupon

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 6 – EDF SA issued a €1.75 billion 10-year green bond with a fixed coupon of 1%, according to a press release.

This is EDF’s third green bond and the largest euro green tranche to date. EDF said it has now issued the equivalent of more than €4 billion of green bonds over the past three years to support its development in renewable energies.

The green bonds were issued along with three other series of bonds on Thursday. The group sold €750 million of 1.875% 20-year bonds, CHF 400 million of 0.3% eight-year bonds and CHF 150 million of 0.65% 12-year bonds.

EDF is an integrated electricity company based in Paris.
