Mississippi Development defeases some Marshall County highway bonds

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 16 – The Mississippi Development Bank defeased some Marshall County Industrial Development Authority Mississippi highway construction project bonds, series 2007, according to a notice.

The bonds, dated Oct. 18, 2007, have Jan. 1 maturity dates between the years 2019 through 2035. They will be redeemed Jan. 1, 2018 at par.

The refunded bonds have the following Cusip numbers: 60534QZH7, 60534QZL8, 60534QZP9, 60534QZJ3, 60534QZM6, 60534QZQ7, 60534QZS3, 60534QZK0, 60534QZN4 and 60534QZR5.

A total of $43,325,409.62 has been deposited with escrow agent Whitney Bank of Gulfport, Miss., for payment of principal and interest on the bonds, the notice states.
