Haggen Holdings exclusive Chapter 11 plan periods extended by court

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, June 23 – Haggen Holdings, LLC received court approval to extend its exclusive periods in which to file and solicit votes for its Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the company will have an exclusive right until Aug. 5 to file its plan and until Oct. 3 to solicit votes on the plan, extended from June 6 and Aug. 4, respectively.

“In light of the fact that these cases have only been pending for nine months, the debtors respectfully submit that the size, complexity and duration of these cases all weigh in favor of allowing the debtors to extend the exclusive periods.”

Based in Bellingham, Wash., Haggen is a supermarket company. It filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 8, 2015 under Chapter 11 case number 15-11874.
