S&P affirms Zurich Insurance

S&P said it affirmed its AA- long-term issuer credit and insurer financial strengths ratings on Zurich Insurance Co. Ltd. and its core operating subsidiaries.

The outlook on all the long-term ratings is stable.

“The affirmation reflects our view of Zurich's improved operating performance following more volatile results in 2015, with a return on equity of about 10% and net income of over $3 billion in 2017,” S&P said in a news release.
