USA Discounters’ Chapter 11 case to remain in Delaware court

Bethlehem, Pa., Sept. 18 – USA Discounters Ltd.’s Chapter 11 case will remain in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, according to an attorney familiar with the case.

As previously reported, when the company filed for bankruptcy, the court scheduled a hearing for USA Discounters to show why the Chapter 11 case should not be transferred to “the Eastern District of Virginia, the District of Colorado or some other appropriate venue.”

USA Discounters, a Norfolk, Va.-based retailer, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 25. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-11755.
