New Issue: China’s CGN Power sells RMB 1 billion 4.03% three-year notes

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 19 – CGN Power Co., Ltd. announced it issued RMB 1 billion of 4.03% three-year notes on Wednesday and Thursday.

Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. acted as bookrunner.

This is CGN’s fourth tranche of mid-term notes. The company sold RMB 2 billion of notes in two tranches in April and a third tranche totaling RMB 1 billion in August, as previously reported.

Proceeds from the latest tranche will be used to repay existing borrowings and to optimize the company’s financial structure.

The nuclear power producer is based in Shenzhen, China.
