Bishop Street’s Hawaii Municipal Bond Fund drops Stephanie Nomura

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., June 24 – Bishop Street Funds announced that Stephanie C. Nomura no longer serves as a portfolio manager of the Hawaii Municipal Bond Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Existing portfolio manager Jennifer Carias will continue managing the fund.

The fund seeks to provide high current income exempt from federal and Hawaii state income taxes by investing at least 80% of its net assets in investment-grade municipal bonds, the interest from which is exempt from regular federal and Hawaii state income taxes.

Honolulu-based Bishop Street Capital Management serves as the investment adviser to the fund.
