Flaherty & Crumrine portfolio manager, co-founder to retire Dec. 31

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 13 – Flaherty & Crumrine Inc. announced that due to his upcoming retirement Donald F. Crumrine will no longer serve as a portfolio manager as of Dec. 31.

Eric Chadwick and Bradford S. Stone will continue as portfolio managers for all of the firm’s strategies, according to a Friday press release.

Crumrine has been a member of the portfolio management team since he co-founded the firm in 1983 with Bob Flaherty. Until September 2014, he also served as the firm’s chairman.

“I am proud of our accomplishments over our 32-year history, and have great confidence the high standards our clients have come to expect will be maintained,” Crumrine said in the release.

Flaherty & Crumrine is based in Pasadena, Calif.
