New York, May 27 – Petrobras Global Finance BV, a subsidiary of Brazil’s Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras), plans to offer one or more series of global notes (Ba2/BB-/BB-), according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The proceeds from the sale of the notes are for general corporate purposes.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Itau BBA USA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. and SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. are joint bookrunners of the SEC-registered deal, which will price subject to market conditions.

The energy company is based in Rio de Janeiro.
