Owensboro Health may sell up to $125 million bonds for projects, refunding

New York, May 28 – Owensboro Health, Inc. said it is considering a bond issue of up to $125 million to fund various projects and refund some of its existing debt.

Whether the sale goes ahead will depend on market conditions, Owensboro Health said in a notice.

Proceeds would be used to acquire, construct and equip new outpatient health-care facilities in Daviess, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Henderson and Hancock counties in Kentucky and to refund part of the outstanding series 2010B revenue refunding bonds issued by the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority for Owensboro Medical Health System, Inc.

The series 2010B bonds that would be refunded are those that become callable on June 1 at par plus accrued interest.

Owensboro Health operates a hospital in Owensboro, Ky.
