Life Partners U.S. trustee assigns five-member creditor committee

New York, June 5 – Life Partners Holdings, Inc. U.S. trustee William T. Neary appointed a five-member official committee of unsecured creditors on Thursday, according to a notice with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Members of the committee are Bert Scalzo of Flower Mound, Texas; Glenda Price of Newark, Texas; Adriana Atchley of Murphy, Texas; and Marc Redus and Robert Trimble, both of Dallas.

Waco, Texas-based Life Partners is engaged in the secondary market for life insurance. Its subsidiaries filed for bankruptcy on May 20.
