H.C. Wainwright taps clean technology analyst Driscoll as managing director of equity research

Knoxville, Tenn., May 15 – H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC announced in a press release it has hired Carter W. Driscoll as a managing director of equity research.

Driscoll also will work as senior analyst in the clean and emerging technologies sector.

Previously, he was employed as head of the clean and emerging technologies research group at MLV & Co. Prior to his term at MLV, he was director of research and a senior clean technologies analyst at Ascendiant Capital Markets and CapStone Investments and was a member of the technology research team at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey.

“We are excited that Carter has decided to join HCW to develop our equity research footprint in the coverage of clean and emerging technology companies,” chief executive officer Mark Viklund said in a press release. “We believe that this growing sector should provide exciting investment opportunities for our clients.”

The investment bank is based in New York.
