Ontario markets dollar five-year notes at mid-swaps plus 38 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., Jan. 17 – The Province of Ontario (Aa2/AA-) intends to price a U.S. dollar-denominated offering of five-year global notes on Friday, according to a market source.

The notes due Jan. 29, 2024 were initially talked to price in the mid-swap plus 38 basis points area.

BofA Merrill Lynch, CIBC World Markets Corp., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the bookrunners.
