India’s Orient Green Power to consider issuance of convertible bonds

Columbus, Ohio, May 4 – Orient Green Power Co. Ltd.’s board of directors will meet Thursday to consider issuance of foreign currency convertible bonds.

The company gave notice of the meeting Monday in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The board will also consider during the meeting other fund raising instruments, including to Indian or foreign institutional or individual investors, foreign mutual funds and alternative investment funds.

Based in Chennai, India, Orient Green is an operator and developer of renewable energy power plants.
