Merced Irrigation, Calif., calls all 2005 electric bonds, certificates

Columbus, Ohio, July 22 – The Merced Irrigation District of California called all $56,292,000 of its outstanding 2005 electric system refunding revenue bonds and certificates of participation, according to two notices.

The following bonds will be redeemed on Sept. 1 at par:

• $1.52 million of 4.2% bonds due Sept. 1, 2016;

• $1,585,000 of 4.5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2017;

• $18,255,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2026;

• $14.23 million of 5.125% bonds due Sept. 1, 2031; and

• $18,315,000 of 5.25% bonds due Sept. 1, 2036.

The following certificates of participation will be redeemed on Sept. 1 at par:

• $355,000 of 4.2% certificates due Sept. 1, 2016;

• $1,665,000 of 4.5% certificates due Sept. 1, 2021; and

• $370,000 of 4.5% certificates due Sept. 1, 2016;

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.
