Fitch cuts Oman Electricity, Mazoon

Fitch Ratings said it downgraded Oman Electricity Transmission Co.’s (OETC) and Mazoon Electricity Co.’s long-term foreign and local currency issuer default ratings to BBB- from BBB.

The outlook is negative.

The actions follow the Dec. 11 downgrade of Oman's long-term foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings to BBB- from BBB. The outlooks are negative.

The agency said its assessment of fundamental issuer-specific credit considerations is unchanged.
