Moody’s ups Oman Electricity

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded Oman Electricity Transmission Co. SAOC’s rating to Ba1 from Ba2 and revised its outlook to stable from positive.

The upgrade and outlook revision mirror a similar action on Oman’s sovereign ratings, the agency said. Moody’s considers Oman Electricity a government-related issuer, citing its close linkage with the government.
