Moody’s stabilizes two Omani issuer views

Moody’s Investors Service said it affirmed the ratings of Mazoon Electricity Co. SAOC and Oman Electricity Transmission Co. SAOC and changed their outlooks to stable from negative .

The ratings actions follow the affirmation of Oman’s Ba3 bond rating and the change in outlook to stable from negative on Thursday.

The ratings actions also reflect the close ties the issuers have with the government, Moody’s said.
