S&P trims Oman Electricity

S&P said it lowered its ratings on Oman Electricity Transmission Co. and the notes sold by its financing vehicle Lamar Funding Ltd. to B- from B.

The downgrade follows the lowering of Oman’s long-term sovereign credit ratings to B+ from BB- on Saturday, S&P said.

The agency withdrew the ratings at the company’s request.
