Lee Steel U.S. trustee appoints unsecured creditor committee of three

New York, April 23 – Lee Steel Corp.’s U.S. trustee, Daniel M. McDermott, assigned an official committee of unsecured creditors, according to a Thursday notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Members of the committee are Scott Davidson of Nippon Steel & Sumkin Bussan Americas, Inc. of Chicago; Kathy Longo of NLMK Pennsylvania, LLC of Farrell, Pa.; and Aaron Evans of Essar Steel Algoma Inc. of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.

Lee is a Novi, Mich., steel maker that filed for bankruptcy on April 13. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-45784.
