Citic Securities lists $3 billion medium-term note program

Buffalo, N.Y., May 22 – Citic Securities International Co., Ltd.’s indirectly and wholly owned subsidiary, CSI MTN Ltd., has listed a $3 billion medium-term note program (BBB+), according to an offering circular on Monday.

The program is guaranteed by the parent company.

CLSA Ltd. is again the sole arranger for the program, also acting as dealer with CSI Global Markets Ltd.

Citicorp International Ltd. is the trustee.

Ashurst Hong Kong and Maples and Calder (Singapore) LLP are the issuer and guarantor’s legal advisers, with Linklaters advising the dealers.

The 12-month, Regulation S program became effective May 19 and is listed on the Hong Kong Exchange.

The issuer was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands on Dec. 30, 2021. The guarantor is wholly owned subsidiary of Citic Securities Co. Ltd., a state-owned conglomerate in China.
