Fitch upgrades Hemas

Fitch Ratings said it upgraded Hemas Holdings plc’s national long-term rating to AA-(lka) from A+(lka), along with the national long-term rating on its senior unsecured debentures to AA-(lka) from A+(lka).

The outlook is stable.

Fitch also said it upgraded the national long-term rating on Hemas’s senior unsecured debentures to AA-(lka) from A+(lka).

The upgrades reflect the company’s improved business risk profile, which is aided by its strong presence in the defensive health care and fast-moving consumer good sectors, the agency said.

The upgrades also consider its increased focus on the high growth leisure sector and its conservative expansion strategy, Fitch said.
