Moody's rates Anheuser-Busch notes A3

Moody's Ratings said it assigned A3 ratings to the dollar-denominated backed senior unsecured notes offered by Anheuser-Busch InBev Worldwide Inc. and euro-denominated backed senior unsecured notes offered by Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (collectively, ABI).

The ratings of ABI and its subsidiaries, including the A3 senior unsecured ratings, are unchanged and the outlook is stable, the agency said.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes including the repayment of upcoming debt maturities.

“The offerings are credit positive because they will improve liquidity by extending maturities without materially affecting cash interest expense,” Moody’s said in a press release.
