AMC notes climb after strong second quarter; Rite Aid continues rally; Qurate Retail up

Tupelo, Miss., Aug. 8 – AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc.’s bonds traded about 1 3/8 points to 1¾ points higher Tuesday after the company posted strong second quarter results.

Trading was active on more than $20 million of notes changing hands.

AMC’s 7½% senior secured first-lien notes due 2029 (Caa1/B-) picked up 1 3/8 points to head out at 69 1/8 bid on more than $10 million of volume during the session, a source said.

The 10% senior secured second-lien notes due 2026 (Caa3/CCC-) were 1¾ points better at 69¾ bid on more than $10 million of activity.

Rite Aid Corp.’s 8% senior secured notes due 2026 (Caa3/CCC-/B) continued to climb over the session, adding 1 point from Monday to head out at 59 bid, a source said.

The notes rallied more than 3 points on Monday.

Qurate Retail Inc.’s 8½% senior notes due 2029 (Caa2/CCC-) were bumped ½ point higher over the day to a quote of 39½ bid, a source said.

The issue climbed 1½ points Monday.
