Barrington Broadcasting gets consents needed to amend 10½% notes

By Laura Lutz

Des Moines, March 20 - Barrington Broadcasting Group LLC and Barrington Broadcasting Capital Corp. amended the reporting requirements for their 10½% senior subordinated notes due 2014, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Holders of 100% of the notes consented to the amendments in a consent solicitation that ended at 5 p.m. ET on March 19, according to the 8-K.

The amendments eliminate a requirement that Barrington file reports with the SEC. Instead, the company is now required to provide reports to the trustee for delivery to the noteholders by the internet.

A supplemental indenture was put into effect on March 19.

Barrington is a Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based operator of television stations.
