Fidelity, Fidelity Advisor investment-grade funds add Pramod Atluri

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Feb. 20 – Fidelity Salem Street Trust announced it has added Pramod Atluri as a co-manager of the Fidelity Investment Grade Bond Fund and the Fidelity Advisor Investment Grade Bond Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Atluri joins existing portfolio manager Jeffrey Moore this month in co-managing the two funds.

The funds each seek a high level of current income by normally investing at least 80% of its assets in investment-grade debt securities of all types. Each fund is managed to have similar overall interest-rate risk to the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond index.

Boston-based Fidelity Management & Research Co. is the investment adviser to the fund.
