New Issue: GS Finance sells $1 million digital buffered notes linked to stock basket

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 13 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1 million of 0% digital buffered notes due Nov. 1, 2023 linked to an equally weighted basket of six stocks, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The basket includes the stocks of BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., Textron Inc., Qualtrics International Inc., Sensata Technologies Holding plc, SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. and Seagen Inc., each with 16.67% weights.
If the basket finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 24.75%.
If the basket falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for every 1% of decline in basket beyond 10%.
