New Issue: Orkuveita Reykjavikur sells ISK 3.53 billion 36-year green bonds at 2.6% yield

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 13 – Orkuveita Reykjavikur completed an offering of 36-year green bonds and accepted bids for ISK 3,528,000,000 of bonds, according to a press release. Fossar Markets was the agent.

Bids totaled ISK 6,258,000,000 at a yield of 2.5% to 2.7%. The company accepted bids totaling ISK 3,528,000,000 at a yield of 2.6%.

Proceeds will be used to finance an array of green projects within the company, with the goal of reducing carbon emissions by 60% by 2030.

The energy and utility company is based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
