S&P raises, pulls Earthstone

S&P said it raised its issuer rating on Earthstone Energy Inc. to BB- from B+ and removed it from CreditWatch where it was placed it with positive implications on Aug. 22. The agency affirmed its BB- ratings on its senior unsecured notes and withdrew its ratings for the company.

“We raised our issuer credit rating on Earthstone and removed the rating from CreditWatch due to the completion of its acquisition by Permian Resources,” S&P said in a statement.
