Sonnedix gets $87 million financing for solar PV portfolio

Chicago, June 15 – Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd. closed senior facilities totaling $87 million with Natixis acting as lead arranger, hedge provider and administrative agent, according to a press release on Monday.

Proceeds from the financing are for an expected 100 MWp portfolio of approximately 20 solar photovoltaic plants in Chile.

The four initial solar photovoltaic plants are expected to have a total capacity of 25 MWp.

The financing allows Sonnedix to add two additional projects to the portfolio, subject to meeting pre-defined eligibility criteria.

The company is planning accordingly to add new two plants with a combined capacity of 14 MWp by June, with a further 61 MWp in combined capacity during the term loan availability period.

This is Natixis’ fourth distributed generation project in Chile over the past year.

Sonnedix is an independent solar power producer based in London.
