Sol Systems hires Jerry Stalun to lead solar energy investments, finance initiatives

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 3 – Sol Systems has named Jerry Stalun as its senior director of investments.

Stalun will lead the company’s investment and structured finance teams in capital development for solar energy investment and finance initiatives, according to a news release.

Prior to joining Sol Systems, Stalun had more than 25 years of experience working in energy asset management, investment and commercial banking.

He was the managing director for EIG Global Energy Partners, the head of asset-based investments-Americas for Arcapita, Inc. and senior vice president of GE Energy Financial Services.

Stalun also held positions at Duke Capital Partners, Bank of America Securities, JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Prudential Capital Group.

Sol Systems is a Washington, D.C.-based solar energy finance and investment firm.
