Carlyle Global Market Strategies CLO 2014-5 to redeem notes due 2025

Norfolk, Va., March 13 – Carlyle Global Market Strategies CLO 2014-5, Ltd./Carlyle Global Market Strategies CLO 2014-5, LLC was directed by the holders of a majority of its subordinated notes to redeem four classes of its notes due 2025 via a refinancing, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed in whole at par plus accrued interest on March 31 for the following total redemption prices:

• $318 million of class A-1 senior secured floating-rate notes, for a total redemption price of $319,639,920.79;

• $59 million of class A-2 senior secured floating-rate notes, for a total redemption price of $59,385,616.48;

• $22 million of class B senior secured deferrable fixed/floating-rate notes, for a total redemption price of $22,197,322.53; and

• $29 million of class C mezzanine secured deferrable floating-rate notes, for a total redemption price of $29,304,211.14.

State Street Bank and Trust Co. is the collateral administrator.

Carlyle Investment Management LLC manages the CLO.
