Virginia Small Business to price $125 million for Hampton University

New York, Nov. 17 – The Virginia Small Business Authority plans to price $125 million of series 2014 refunding revenue bonds for Hampton University during the week of Nov. 17, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (/A-/) will be sold through senior manager Rice Financial Products Co. with PNC Capital Markets LLC and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as the co-managers.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to refund the university’s series 2008A revenue bonds, as well as to terminate a related swap agreement.
