MarkWest begins tender offers for 6¾% notes, 6½% notes and 6¼% notes

Chicago, May 28 – MarkWest Energy Partners, LP said it began three concurrent cash tender offers for three series of its notes.
The purchase price per $1,000 principal amount will be as follows:
• $1,058.14 for the $500 million of 6¾% senior notes due 2020;
• $1,072.38 for the $325 million of 6½% senior notes due 2021; and
• $1,111.63 for the $455 million of 6¼% senior notes due 2022.
MarkWest Energy Finance Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of MarkWest Energy Partners, LP, is a co-issuer.
Holders will also receive accrued interest up to but excluding the initial settlement date.
Each offer will expire at 5 p.m. ET on June 3, with settlement slated for June 4. Settlement for any notes tendered under a notice of guaranteed delivery is expected to be June 8.
The offer for each series of notes is conditioned on the completion of a notes offering. No offer is conditioned upon any minimum amount of notes being tendered or the completion of any other offer.
