Alamo Capital announces senior vice president, trading manager Fannon

Norfolk, Va., Nov. 10 – Alamo Capital announced that Jeffrey Fannon will be the senior vice president, trading manager for its Chicago branch, according to a press release.

He will manage the trading desk and expand Alamo Capital's existing and new business relationships in Chicago.

Prior to joining Alamo Capital, Fannon spent 12 years at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. trading and managing the Chicago regional municipal desk.

Fannon's municipal bond career spans over 42 years beginning at Paine Webber from 1973 to 1991, where he managed trading and underwriting. He also spent time with Shawmut Bank of Boston as a trader, trading manager and underwriter.

At Pacific Crest Securities, he established and managed the trading/underwriting desk for the northwest regional firm then became a municipal bond broker at RW Smith & Associates.
