Taiwan’s Fubon Life Insurance plans NT$35 billion perpetuals for 2016

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 23 – Fubon Financial Holding Co. announced that subsidiary Fubon Life Insurance Co., Ltd. plans to issue up to NT$35 billion of perpetual cumulative subordinated corporate bonds in 2016.

The bonds will be issued at par in one or more tranches.

The bonds will be callable after 10 years.

Proceeds will be used to strengthen the company’s working capital and financial structure, to meet mid- or long-term plans and to raise the company’s RBC ratio.

Fubon is a financial services company based in Taipei, Taiwan.
