Fubon Life plans second issue of subordinated corporate bonds

Chicago, Oct. 31 – Fubon Life Insurance Co., Ltd. plans to issue NT$2.5 billion of cumulative subordinated corporate bonds, according to a notice.

The issue will be in two tranches, NT$500 million of 3.7% 10-year notes and NT$2 billion of 3.85% 15-year notes.

The bonds will be sold at par of NT$1 million.

The bonds will have 10 years of call protection for the 15-year tranche.

Fubon Securities Co., Ltd. is the lead underwriter.

Bank SinoPac Co., Ltd. will be the trustee.

Proceeds will be used to strengthen working capital and the company’s financial structure and increase the RBC ratio.

Parent Fubon Financial Holding Co. is a financial services company based in Taipei, Taiwan.
