Mississippi Phosphates granted OK to hire Deloitte’s Nash as CRO

Pittsburgh, Jan. 7 – Mississippi Phosphates Corp. received court approval to designate Jonathan J. Nash as its chief restructuring officer, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.

Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP was hired to provide the CRO to Mississippi Phosphates.

Deloitte’s professional fees for its engagement, including the CRO function, will be $25,000 per week plus reimbursement of expenses.

Nash’s hiring is effective retroactive to Nov. 10.

Mississippi Phosphates, a Pascagoula, Miss., fertilizer company, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 27. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-51667.
