Chicago, Oct. 15 – SPDR Thomson Reuters Global Convertible Bond Ucits exchange-traded fund was launched on Xetra, according to a press release.

The ETF tracks the global market for convertible bonds for the first time, the release said.

The new bond index fund from the ETF offering issued by SPDR (State Street Global Advisors) has been tradable in the XTF segment on Xetra since Wednesday, the press release noted.

The index includes convertible bonds with and without an investment-grade rating and with fixed or floating interest rates. The weighting is limited to 4% per issuer.

The product offering in Deutsche Borse’s XTF segment comprises a total of 1,043 exchange traded funds.
