S&P gives AerCap notes BBB-
S&P said it assigned its BBB- issue-level rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes issued by AerCap Holdings NV's wholly owned subsidiaries AerCap Ireland Capital DAC and AerCap Global Aviation Trust.
The notes are guaranteed by AerCap Holdings and various AerCap subsidiaries.
The companies will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including to acquire aircraft and repay their debt.
The agency said it rates the company's unsecured debt the same as the corporate credit rating because no significant elements of subordination risk are present in its capital structure.
