Violin Memory records wider $1.53 million operating loss for March

Pittsburgh, April 17 – Violin Memory, Inc. reported a $1.53 million operating loss for March on $995,246 in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Violin Memory posted a $726,972 operating loss for February on $1.65 million of total revenue.

The net loss for March was $2.33 million, widening from a $1.86 million February net loss.

The company had $6.28 million in cash as of March 31, up from $4.35 million at the end of February.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Violin Memory develops and supplies computer data storage products. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 14 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12782.
