Violin Memory records $726,972 operating loss for February

New York, March 22 – Violin Memory, Inc. reported a $726,972 operating loss for February, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Revenue for the month was $1.65 million.

Those figures deteriorated from an operating loss of $604,955 in January on revenue of $1.74 million.

The net loss for the most recent month was $1.86 million, which included $836,392 of professional fees for the company’s reorganization and a $257,040 gain from the sale of assets.

Violin has $4.35 million of cash at Feb. 28, up from $3.41 million on Jan. 31.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Violin Memory develops and supplies computer data storage products. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 14 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12782.
