Violin Memory records $604,955 operating loss for month ended Jan. 31

Pittsburgh, Feb. 23 – Violin Memory, Inc. reported a $604,955 loss from operations for January on $1.74 million in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Feb. 22 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

For the period of Dec. 14 through Dec. 31, the company posted a $1.16 million loss from operations on $968,953 in total revenue.

The net loss for January was $3.22 million, widening from a $1.97 million net loss for the December period.

In addition, Violin Memory had $3.41 million in cash as of Jan. 31, down from $3.99 million at Dec. 31.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Violin Memory develops and supplies computer data storage products. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 14 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12782.
