RS Floating Rate Fund drops portfolio manager Marc Gross

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Sept. 17 – RS Investment Trust announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Marc Gross is no longer co-portfolio manager of the RS Floating Rate Fund, effective Sept. 15.

Kevin Booth, John Blaney and Paul Gillin remain as co-portfolio managers of the fund.

The fund seeks a high level of current income by investing primarily in senior floating-rate loans and other floating-rate investments that are typically below investment grade. The fund may also invest in second-lien loans, fixed-rate loans, unsecured loans and other debt obligations.

San Francisco-based RS Investment Management Co. LLC is the investment adviser.
