New Issue: UBS prices $80,000 capped buffered return notes on stock basket
Chicago, Aug. 29 – UBS AG, London Branch priced $80,000 of 0% capped buffered return notes due Sept. 7, 2023 linked to an equally weighted basket of eight equity securities, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The securities are Baker Hughes Co., BP plc, Enphase Energy, Inc., Diamondback Energy, Inc., Freeport-McMoRan Inc., Generac Holdings Inc., Shell plc and Schlumberger NV (Schlumberger Ltd.).
The payout at maturity will be par plus any basket gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,310 per $1,000 of notes.
Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15%. If the basket declines more than 15%, investors will lose 1.1765% for every 1% that the basket declines beyond 15%.
