PNC Funds announces liquidation of several state municipal funds

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Sept. 5 – The board of trustees of PNC Funds approved at an Aug. 28 meeting its plans to liquidate several of its municipal funds, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The funds to be liquidated include the PNC Michigan Intermediate Municipal Bond Fund, PNC Pennsylvania Intermediate Municipal Bond Fund, PNC Pennsylvania Tax Exempt Money Market Fund and PNC Ohio Municipal Money Market Fund.

The liquidations will take place on Oct. 8.

Shareholders may redeem or exchange their shares without any sales charges, including contingent deferred sales charges, effective Sept. 12.
