S&P stabilizes Santa Fe province view

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the Ca issuer rating, foreign currency, and the Ca senior unsecured ratings, foreign currency, of the province of Santa Fe and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

“The change in outlook to stable from negative reflects Moody's view that, unlike local peers, Santa Fe is unlikely to undergo any debt restructuring proceedings in the near term and Moody's understanding that the province has adequate liquidity to address short term funding needs as the province does not face significant payments in foreign currency beyond a principal payment of $125 million in March 2022,” the agency said in a press release.
