New Issue: Bank of China prices RMB 1.5 billion 2.8% two-year notes

Buffalo, N.Y., July 9 – Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd. priced a RMB 1.5 billion issue of 2.8% two-year notes (Aa3) under its $15 billion medium term note program, according to a listing notice on Friday.

Bank of China and Citigroup are the joint global coordinators, joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.

Also serving as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners are Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., Hong Kong Branch, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank (Asia), China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch, China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd., CLSA, CMB Wing Lung Bank Ltd., Crédit Agricole CIB, ICBC, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Bank of East Asia, Ltd.

The listing for the Regulation S notes is expected to be effective July 12.

Based in Beijing, the commercial bank has branches in mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
