Entel markets 11-year notes in low 200 bps area over Treasuries

Chicago, Sept. 9 – Chile’s Empresa Nacional de Telecommunicaciones SA (Entel) marketed a second tranche of 11-year notes during the Sept. 6 week with talk for a spread in the low 200 basis points area over Treasuries, according to a market source.

The notes are expected to come with a Sept. 14, 2032 maturity date.

The company is rated for $800 million of bonds (BBB-/BBB-) and priced $500 million of 40-year bonds on Tuesday.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC have been hired as bookrunners.

The issuer is a Santiago-based telecommunications company.
